Hi all called in my local Asda just now and they have RedX diesel and petrol for £2 a pop thats the size you can use twice.

Tesco occasionally do the same, and I get a couple of bottles of each when they do!

Snake oil possibly, put at £1 per full tank it's not expensive enough to warrant discussion, can't see it doing any harm and at that price if it does some good, that's fine! Been doing precisely that to both cars for a good while now!! Mind you, I can remember a time when there was a squirter can of Redex Upper Cylinder Lubricant on the forecourt and it was 1D (one old penny) a shot!!

Been using Redex for many years (before I moved to premium fuels) and I can testify that it keeps the injectors very clean (based on visual inspection when I took off the injectors rail after 40,000 miles with Redex, compared to other injectors I've seen).

Not used redex, Tesco fuel, car runs great, DPF was down to 5%, 0g soot and 0g ash.
Give me your £1

… changed my mind. 🤣

Redex!!
Whoo hoow !!
Wow are they still around?
I remember back in the 50's when all good Dads knew how to fix cars, and so did a lot of women too !
Our finest generation.!
During a fill up usually something Vauxhall, like model 14 ,Wyvern, Velox, etc it got a shot from a bloke holding an oversized squirt can with a plunger on it.
My dad swore it made the car run better , but my Mah always thought it was waste of hard earned money !
GM's Made in USA ,Canada as GMC and all Luton stuff he could fettle it, even his work truck was ex Army wartime GMC .

I worked with my dad in his shop as an 8 year old, and I knew somewhere there was kid on the other side of the pond that had worked with his dad with the same in say Cleveland or St Louis who had done & said the something!
The "F bomb" and an Oldsmobile to go with it 👿
This clip proves it !
