I've typically bought Dell for a long time now. I know where I am with them and they are reliable machines using good hardware - and I like the recovery situation (using their media).
Replacing Mrs JB's Samsung laptop, which I have to say considering how good their washer-dryers are - this laptop hasn't been great overall.
In the days when I used to build my own PCs, I swore by Asus hardware (motherboards and optical drives mainly) and it never let me down.
I've had a very good Asus soundcard for a few years now and it is a great piece of kit.
So I am considering these kind of machines made by Asus:

Don't want something massive - and was considering a Dell 3020 SFF.
I realise they all come with 7 Pro (anything decent and small by Dell and Asus don't seem to make for the consumer market) but to get the right machine, I don't mind and it's obviously not an issue.
Anyone got any experience of these PC units made by Asus?
Don't want something so small it needs an exterior power supply but don't need anything massive either (like a Mini Tower).
