Auc clk55 amg

Looks to be very good value for money.

The only negative I can initially think of would be relating to general more Mercedes dealerships.

But you could easily buy the car then have it serviced-maintained at a local independent specialist.

edit: be careful of speed cameras on the A452

Tansanite Blue is a great colour ...

and it has keyless go too.

:)

WOW fast response chaps

Given a reasonably light right foot, what mpg could one expect do you think.

I have a 330D at present and I do a lot of miles and am BORED, BORED, BORED.

If I nursed it on long runs from Brum to Edinburgh for example?

Then on the weekends I could enjoy the car properly.

Mid-life crisis looming?

28 mpg ish on a run if you don't go silly ...

Reading other people's threads on 55 AMGs it seems they can achieve 28mpg on long runs, but that would rapidly drop once you did more stop-start driving.

Don't forget the +£400 VED.....not that will bother you I imagine.

Yummy. You will be lucky to average more than 20mpg, but you enjoy each one a lot :)

Hmm, might pop along on the weekend then Howard

Anyone want a 55 plate 330D sport auto?

and yes, it is great colour C240

For a laugh ask for p/x value..........would be interesting to hear.

No doubt they'll spin you a line how undesirable BMW diesels are ;)

Approved Used BMW

Hmm and mine has only 23K miles

Yeah but ... that's retail price - trade in will be a lot less, even at a BMW dealership. And an M-B dealer is going to want to sell it on to someone else at a profit first (they won't be able to retail it themselves).

I thought it was a bit pricy.

It's blue and now a 6 year old car with an unpopular big petrol engine.

Not saying I don't like it but I would expect a massive discount or a very generous p/ex on the Beemer.
I've often noticed that MB direct are a bit more expensive for ASKING prices than a 'proper' dealer.

Bought mine from MB Direct in Birmingham, and found them to be quite flexible on price, especially approaching quarter end target dates...

I'd dispose of the BM separately, unless they come in with a stellar offer straight away. The trade in can just muddy the discussion.

Thats why I did ASKING prices in capitols. I've bought from the one off the M42 in the past and found that they were eiher keen as mustard on the P/ex or willing to discount heavily - even on the phone - not bad as a starting point.

??

VED is £215 this year and £245 next year. It was registered before 26 Mar 06.

ahh.....I didn't spot the car was pre March 2006.....my mistake, sorry.........I'm sure that's the 2nd time I made this mistake :(

Are you tempted for a W209 AMG now that you've seen the price?
