It is the 2nd time
In short, no I am not tempted by a W209 CLK55. My eyes have already begun to wander to my CLK55 replacement. I am looking to change at the beginning of next year when the Mini and GL end their respective contracts. Although I change my mind every few weeks, I am currently very keen on getting a certain 500bhp car which has the addition of two more cylinders over the '55. I'll say no more!

I suppose 10 cylinders narrowed it down to the M5 and M6! But yes, M5. Hopefully driving one in the next few weeks. That long term test is for the previous model E39 V8 M5, very good though. I am looking at the latest model (E60), introduced Mar 05.
