Audi ttS

Having driven the SLK55 AMG and 2010 Boxster and now been driving around in this rent car for a few days I finally made my choice..

Its a 2009 Audi ttS 6-speed manual gearbox with two tone leather (black and silver inserts) quite nice I have to admit.

Drives nicely but not as good the porsche or the AMG!

so I'm going for a 2007 Black SLK55 AMG with perfomance package on the weekend hopefully!

It's done nearly 17K with 1 owners! will post images when/if I get it!

as for the TTS hmm well... makes a nice girls car

Spoiler goes up at a certain speed but there was a button which I had in the car raises the spolier at all times, didnt push it when I took the images!

Audi is 270bhp from a turbo 4 pot - the RS would be the SLK55 equivalent with something like 380 from a turbo straight 5, iirc.

2-liter Turbo 274bhp 0-60 in 5.4secs for the manual and 5.2secs for the S-tronic, not bad is it.

the TTRS has 340bhp 2.5L turbo and does 0-60 in 4.7secs and they only do them in manual which was a put off for me!

The straight 5 sounds immense though, proper heritage Audi noise.

Have so say that TT doesn't look too differnet to a 2.0tdi model...

I spot a TTRS convertible in a Audi blue colour as I walk to work that looks nice.

I would prefer the SLK from your choice, hard top and convertible in one.

Given a slightly wet day though the TT will probably feel far more sure footed. Think its the colour of that loan car...just blends into a dull day.

Well spoted the boot was not closed properly!

Yes the SLK55 was farrrr better, for me only thing came close to that was the boxster, it was a great car to drive with the best gearbox i've ever driven, would be my 2nd choice.

2010 Boxster S PDK I would take over the SLK55 but it was out of my price range.
