Hi,

I have the Audio 10 with CD player fitted in my car.
Does anyone know if it is possible to search through a track on the CD player? All I can do is skip tracks, not search.
First instinct would be to hold down the > button to the right of the vol. knob, but all this does is skip tracks.

Yeah this bugs the hell out of me as well, first time I've ever come across a stereo where you couldn't do this

it really annoyed me too .

Audio 20 that ive got just now allows you to fast forward.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one that this bugs!!
Do yo know if there is an alternative MB head unit available which does have this which fits my 2001 W203?

I think the best radio out there is the one with the 6 buttons for the stacker and the phone keypad. Its the next best thing to a navigation version.

Usually carries the badge of RADIO 30 (not to be called APS30 navigation)

Have you tried pressing the up/down arrow on the volume/on-off button? works for me

It must be differrent on the Audio 10s with the rounded edges for the W209. My rectangular one allows you to scan a song with the up and down arrow buttons next to the on/off and volume button.

Changing CDs is done on mine by turning the other knob.

Audio 30 is the one for this.

There seem to be a few versions of Audio 30. Do you mean the one which looks like my Audio 10 and has satnav?

There are days when I feel invisible.

As stated further up the page.
