Audio 20 upgrade

Hi All, I have just bought a W211 e220d year 2007. It has a standard Audio 20 (without colour screen) and no multichanger below. I have read it is possible to upgrade the software so the unit will play mp3 CDs? Is this not possible with this unit? Or would I be better finding a multichanger and fitting it in the slot below? How easy is this? Many thanks for any help
