curious can anyone help...been having trouble with car driving out of gear and so far struggled to get it to a STAR machine as the nearest one want £100 an hour!!!!

HOWEVER
I was told by a guy at Mercedes Leeds that it sounds like the gear selector box..which would explain why at times ONLY P and 1 immuminate the rest either don't or do at times or flicker...
I'm thinking of buying a new selector box, around £40 on ebay, hell cheaper than the STAR...
