Hi just used autosmart topaz on my ml, I must say I am quite impressed, not done a water/rain test for beading but car defo feels smoother to the touch and a colleague commented that car looked too shiny

C,mon all you AutoGlym lads, give it a go. This product will not stain black plastic trim, but has all the other good points of AGSRP.

I bought a can of topaz the other week. Its nice stuff to use. Quite a lot of it too for £20 odd quid.

Done my car with it last week. This was the first time I have used it and I'm really impressed.

Where is this product sold exactly?

I see favourable reviews but I cant seem to buy it anywhere.

Autosmart do say that you can buy it of your local Autosmart rep but for the life of me I cant find any.

It reminds me of pyramid sales schemes like Amway or something.

Autosmart are the UKs biggest trade supplier of car valeting products, supplying nearly every car dealership in the country. They have their own product and development factory just outside Birmingham, they also provide training for anyone considering valeting as a profession.
Contact the head office and they should provide you with your local rep.
Topaz is billed as a polish, but I would call it a top coat " glaze", it has all the attributes of AGSRP, in that it does contain fillers for fine scratches etc.
It differs from AGSRP in that it will not stain black trim and is based on " nano bonding", ok its not in the league of Gtechniq etc, but if you want a product that gives a silky smooth finish to your paint with exceptional gloss, and allows you to do the car in 10 mins flat, this is the product for you.

Is it like SRP where you need a hoover for the residue?

Tony.

No, this from the website

"100% zero dusting and marking:
Topaz will not mark trim and will not leave residues around badges, decals, in panel gaps, reverse sensors, protective wrap etc."

fwiw, the revised formula for AG Super Resin Polish is much better than the old version. It also no longer has a dusting problem. It's also much easier to buy.
