Hi all-I'm running AVG 8.0. When I try to run an update it says it has failed as a .bin file is missing I uninstalled AVG then re-installed it and also did a system restore to a day I know it was all working fine. The problem still persisits. Any ideas?

Ok chaps-just been surfing the net about this and it appears AVG released a 'bad' update yesterday. AVG users GLOBALLY are affected by this and the net nerds expect AVG to release a fix on Monday. Hopefully this will be an automatic download. Apparently we are still protected.

Is that what it is? Been trying since 8pm last night. It OK now.

Ha Ha, their websites got hit.

Thought it got something to do with something in my C drive.:D

It seems to me that you're displaying Schadenfreude towards a company that provides you with a free service. May I ask why?
