Hi all, waiting deliver 2 litre of my 2018 350e. Purchased from a MB dealer with a years warranty and 3 years servicing.
I know the real world electric range is likely to be half of the official (19 miles) I spent a lot of time watching owner experience videos on line and I most were positive. My trips are mostly sub 10 miles and I know its not an electric car! I hope it will work for me. When I am on longer trips I will willingly fill the tank and pay the price for the extra weight. So any body who has actually owned and experienced this model have anything positive to say? negative comments welcome too, other than such obviously rubbish comments as 'it wont move off your drive in electric'
Safe journeys and good times on the road to all

It’s a good concept, if you can do 80% of your journeys locally on the battery why not. I’d guess you will come to love the quiet and torque of the electric motors. We’ve gone full BEV for errands and local use and ICE for longer journeys.

As long as it does what you want it to do, that's all that matters. Almost all of the negative posts are from people who have never owned one, they just like bumping their gums (Scottish saying) Enjoy it when it comes.👍

Hi , as you said you have researched the car and all appears positive for you use.

This type of car should be ideal for you as you drive short journeys.Would be of no use to me as my driving pattern is totally different to yours.I believe this drive train should have been adopted prior to full electrification of passage cars.

Don't let the doom and gloom merchants put you off your new purchase.

What I would say please make sure everything works as it should prior to delivery.

Thank you! I will cancel the leap off the motorway bridge (-:

There's a whole thread SPECIFICALLY for 350e owners on here. C350e owners club | Electric Mercedes models
My only advice is to maintain the highest level of MB extended warranty you can after the first year---repairs on the drivetrain can be eyewateringly expensive should something go wrong.
Thank you sound advice. I currently own a 2016 E class coupe. I would not dream of running 'even' this car, with no hybrid elements, without a an MB extended warranty. In 14 months of ownership its needed minor TLC and code tweaks on the electric sheets, sunroof and stop start. My 350e has 3 years service plan and I will certainly be extending the warranty, pay monthly! (-:

Welcome! Enjoy your new car and hopefully you'll find this forum useful (just don't stick an AMG badge on it......)
🤣
Great idea! I have a AMG line e class thats close enough to a real AMG (-:
