Folks what is involved in a B1 Service on a petrol c180 2008 many thanks.

Not to step on AMGeed,s toes here and please do correct me if I'm wrong but I would also recommend going through your service book or any history to see when things like spark plugs and filters were changed so you don't get any surprises or disappointments. You could either get a call that they'll want to change them at extra cost which isn't included in the service or the opposite you might assume they will be changed when they won't.
Some members keep track themselves of when things are done and due as Mercedes only go by what is due on there ESS system so if something is missed on a previous
Service it will go to the next interval not roll over to the next service. Service Care Plan - good value?
GLK showed me a PDF on page 2 of above link. Embarrassingly it took me a little while to understand this

^ Quite right. I have a C service coming up, but due to mileage my plugs and ATF need changing as well. Another good reason for keeping the service book stamped and invoices for previous services.

The B service is an engine oil and filter change, plus cabin/pollen filter change, plus some checks.

As for additional items... 2018 should be the car's 10th service.

IF everything was done by the book so far, and IF all additional items were replaced on time (and not mileage), then it should only need brake fluid change (due every 2 years).

But you should check that the following were indeed done on time:

Spark plugs - every 4 years

Fuel filter - every 4 years (15 years on later models)

Air filter - every 4 years

ATF (if automatic) - either 'sealed for life' or every 4 years (5 years on later models)

Thank you very much for a detailed answer.
