Barbara Streisand didn't make it through...

So....
Had a couple of hours today to have a fiddle with the W220 that I have just bought.
First job; see why the CD changer was saying 'no magazine'. Opened the boot and pressed the eject button on the magazine and nothing happened. No whirring, clunking-nothing. After an hour of messing I had to involve the use of screwdrivers and leverage. Turns out a CD is half loaded between the magazine and the player and is stuck.
The previous owner must have just not even bothered attempting because there turned out to be 5 CDs in the magazine and after my poking & prodding there were only 4.
Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Billy Fury and Rod Stewart got out alive but I'm afraid it was curtains for old Streisand....
So now I'm in the Market for a CD changer... and if anyone knows how to use the in-dash CD player, can you let me know because it will only take the Sat-Nav disc.

The in dash one should play music CD's no problem.

The CD changer problem is common, keep an eye on ebay, I normally buy them for under £100.

They were the previous owners CDs.
If I hadn't have got the car for such an excellent price, I would be getting annoyed because I specifically asked the seller to tell me all the problems and he didn't tell me about this
I wouldn't have minded at all if he had just told me; when I sell a car, I tell the potential buyer as much as I can but in this case he MUST have known.

It's becoming a tough transition from my beloved W211...
The level of specification is frightening and alot of it seems standard.

Could you imagine the other way round?
Instead of not working, it wouldn't turn off and played Streisand on a loop
