Have an E200 year2000 facelift model posted thread here a couple of weeks ago regarding that I could not get in car owing to flat battery and wrong key thanks to your forum powered battery from starter motor opened door with remote, jumpstarted and gave it a good run next day battery flat again leaving the bonnet open just in case was not a problem
jump starting again.I went and bought a new battery changed it and since I put the new battery in the BAS and ESP Warning lights came on
tried it again a couple of days later and they still come on. I would like to tell you that a couple of months ago I changed the brake switch. This seems to have happened since I put the new battery in ,any
suggestions please

Try starting the engine and turning the steering wheel from lock to lock a couple of times.
Worked on my W210 when I changed the battery.
Let us know how you get on.

Turn the steering wheel all the way to the left and then all the way to the right. Do this a couple of times and the warning messaqge will disappear. I hope this helps.
