- CLK 500 Sport AMG Cab and a ML500 as the run around..........
Probably not the best title folks.
I've left the CL55 AMG for 12 days before and the Beast started first time with no sign of battery fade.
This time, Friday last, 18 days at Humberside airport I ended up with the RAC to help out. Very sluggish on the remote open and that was it!
After opening the boot, throwing in rig bag and shutting lid, alarm went off, shut alarm off and called the RAC.
Could I open the boot - nope! Even the deadlock key wouldn't work - solid lock.
The RAC guy (very helpful) ended up powering from the "other side" of the alternator. I then reset the key fob remote and then the deadlock would work (very good security MB). Good job I had the owners handbook for offshore reading with me!
Moral and top tip -
Always carry the main fob with the deadlock key!
Battery and charging were 100% and no problems since the 11th.

Edit for poor grammar.
