Not sure which section this should go in so I will leave it to the mods to move if needed
We work on a large number of Mercedes Commercial vehicles and as a result we invested in a star diagnosis machine to aid our routine service work and troubleshooting.
However, due to financial constraints, we opted for the Star Basic machine with CV licence only which does not have the WIS (Workshop Information System) system on it which over time has become something of a problem.
I have recently asked DCUK if we can get a standalone WIS for desktop use and we were told no but the whole of WIS, ASRA and EPC for all mercedes vehicles is available on line, for a fee, at the following link
WIS, ASRA & EPC ON LINE
We have used this system and can testify that it can in the right hands be an immense help.
Not cheap but with user licences from 1 day to 1 year available it may be that you could save yourselves a small fortune if you are mechanically minded and want to tackle a job without involving a stealer.
Hope some of you find this useful
