I know it's not a beloved mercedes, but I need to sell my bike and there are a few on here who like it on 2 wheels.(And I didn't mean flying round a corner with 2 on the ground and 2 in the air). :D
It is a 1999 Kawasaki ZX9R C2. Blue and purple.
Mot'd and taxed last week. (Flew through mot). :bannana:
It is an import registered on a Q plate, but could (I am led to believe) be put on a T plate by contacting Kawasaki UK.
It has an irridium screen, a carbon rear hugger and the exhaust was made up by the British superbike boys for me.(Sounds the dogs', but still BS kite marked).
Few blemishes to the paintwork (race fairing) and a scratch on the tank.

Price = £2500 ono.

Pics available by email.

"Flew through the MOT"

Yeah - but they're not supposed to fly when on the MOT. Keeping both wheels on the ground is considered better as it allows them to do the MOT:D Unless it was the Civil Aviation Authority doing it of course:D

Sorry couldn't resist - will go away now:o

Good luck in getting a buyer

(Must not buy bike, wife would kill me)

Think of the thrill of the open roads, wind rushing against your leathers. :D
Go on. You know it makes sense. :bannana:  :bannana:

:D Git!
No had an agreement, could have a Merc and a holi to the Maldives if I sold the bike, so I had better keep to the bargain (at least until the first warm sunny day ;) )

What I meant to say was it passed with ease.
It is hard keeping it on 2 wheels though. Normally, the front pops up if you ride it right. :bannana:

Ah. Too bad mate. I hope it gets warm and sunny for you soon. LOL

@ Lotusmark2
Price now £2250 mate. ;) ;)
Took her out on the country roads today to blast away the cobwebs.
Lovely feeling, apart from the to55er in an old mk5 escort who thought he could go quicker than me round the bends and ended up losing his front end in a hedge.
There are some a55holes about :o

Now £2000 as needs to go to a good home asap.

An old thread, but as most of you know, I did the bike up as a race bike.
I swapped it yesterday for a Honda XR600R (done as a supermoto).
All road legal and a brilliant numberplate too.
I can't keep the smile off my face when you feel the torque in the old girl.
Pops the front up in every gear.
Took a couple of hours to get used to stop trying to get my knee down on the corners
Pics to follow :D

You can still get your knee down mate, as one of my colleagues with a KTM 620 will testify.

Have been right over on the sidewalls mate.
Just found it easier to stick my leg out motorcross style ;)
I am 6ft and can still only just tip-toe the floor
Knee down on an XR600 = impossible  (KTM = lower seat height)
