Mercedes-benz c class c220 w204 2011
Hi everyone
I collected my 2011 c class c220 w204 on Thursday from dealer after having subframe replaced, everything was good drove superbly no knocks bangs or excessive smoke...went to car this morning..started well but as I was driving I noticed that it was blowing loads of dark grew smoke when accelerating I checked oil and coolant levels and they were clear of any contamination. so I took the car for another blast Dow carriageway and gradually the excessive smoking cleared.i had no warning lights on dash...can any of you good people shed any light as to what it could of been tia(new merc keeper)

How long did the car sit on the dealer's forecourt waiting for parts?

I have a 2014 W204, it seems to do it about once every two weeks. I'm sure I read somewhere it's a regen thing. Embarrassing when it decides to do it when you're sat in traffic, I try and set off as slow as possible, but smoke still bellows out. Only does it for less than 30 secs.

My car done it for about 20 minutes I took it down bypass and it cleared...was really bad tho...need to do as you said keep the revs down when it's happening 👍

My old W204 did a similar thing, and it was only once. I put it down to a strange Regen, and it never did it again.
Well seams that my car may of been doing a regen due to amount of time it was parked up at the dealership waiting to be repaired
Thanks everyone for your input much appreciated
