I'm currently looking to buy an eclass e220. Test drove one today a 14 plate e220 CDI. This must be one of the last ones before they went blue tec. It drove fine so my question is there any reason that I should discount this engine for one of the blue tec ones or is this engine well proven. Other benefits are because it's not blue tec you get a space saver spare wheel as the space isn't taken up with the add blue tank.
I also asked about the auto gearbox fluid change. Service book says every three years but the service centre there said its every 5years or 70k?
I'm new to Merecedes so any advice would be much appreciated
