Hi. Im looking to add Bluetooth to my 2007 E280 elegance. I have this phone dock in the centre armrest. Does anyone know which part I need to buy to be able to connect my iPhone handsfree? Thanks.

Unfortunately my car doesn’t have an aux port in the glove box. They only enable Bluetooth phone calls, not music streaming.
If you want music you will need to find an Aux input or swap the head unit out for a new android one
As my W211 does not have the Aux socket I decided to by the Mr12Volt Bluetooth USB AUX adapter from eBay. I have fitted it and it sounds much better than the FM transmitter that was powered by the cigarette lighter. It's all hidden where the 6 disc CD changer used to be which means that I still have the original look. This will allow both phone calls and streaming of music/podcasts.

Hi - I have attached the instructions for my unit and they also have a website at mr12volt.comHi PaulG, could I ask please where you connected the power wires to? i fitted mine to the comand's power wires and its draining the battery over a few days now. instructions mentioned a live 12v not a ignition live so am unsure if comands is live or ignition live
Cheers, yeah I also followed those instructions that came with the kit and saw that video too. Guess I'm in the 1% where its draining the battery. No worries, appreciate your reply though!Hi - I have attached the instructions for my unit and they also have a website at mr12volt.com
They also have a Youtube channel at: youtube.com/@mr12volt/videos
I hope that helps.
It might be worth contacting their support team about it. It shouldn't drain the battery though. When the ignition is off the unit does not/should not receive power.Cheers, yeah I also followed those instructions that came with the kit and saw that video too.
