Figure or offer?Carwow came up with quite a reasonable initial figure![]()
I know you’ve had it a while as I remember speaking to you about it around eight years ago before I bought my first E55KI've been on here since I bought it, but dropped off so am classed as new member - not enough posts to advertise it.
E55k, 90,100 miles. Obsidian. FSH (annually), COMAND, HK audio (Dolby 7), Pano roof, active heated/cooled seats, heated rears, linguatronic, split folding rear seats, spare wheel, TV tuner (fwiw), curve headlights, keyless go, two tone leather, Bluetooth, parktronic, etc.
Only options I can think of that are missing is Distronic and rear blinds.
Original wheels, replaced throttle body, and air suspension pump, Johnson charger pump and various other bits over the years. About £14 k in receipts, but spread over 12+ years.
Mainly general upkeep.
I don't mind sharing at all.I know you’ve had it a while as I remember speaking to you about it around eight years ago before I bought my first E55K
They’re good cars, I really liked both of mine. The sort of car you keep a while as they do everything so well and there was not a lot out there did it better in the same price bracket either. I should think it’s held its value quite well too.
I think you should perhaps indicate what carwow are offering, you might get a better bid from an enthusiast on here who values the spec and condition/history etc more than the trade?
The boat is an little old Norman cruiser. My first boat, and now I'm ready to trade up. She would be capable of coastal cruising, but would need a bigger engine and some mods. So we just potter about on the Severn for now.In my experience, often cars sell at auction for more than what I’d be prepared to pay. But there can only be one winner, and they pay the highest price for what they want above what everyone else is prepared to pay.
I think you’ll have done okay with yours though, not sure exactly when you bought it but values are stronger now that they were a few years ago
What’s the boat you have? Inland if you’re in the midlands or have you got something sea going?![]()
Sounds like you’ve got the bug. Maybe post some pics on an OT thread sometimeThe boat is an little old Norman cruiser. My first boat, and now I'm ready to trade up. She would be capable of coastal cruising, but would need a bigger engine and some mods. So we just potter about on the Severn for now.
Seen a Century Meridian with a Penta Duoprop. Would be the ideal next step![]()
I've had a good experience with Motorway too, but that was for a car which mainstream dealers would have wanted. When I sold my E250 last year, Motorways estimate came in significantly higher than all the others and actually sold for that price with no subsequent negotiation on pick up. I expect I paid for the pain free convenient experience but eyes were open!
