Can get this at about £33. Good investment?

Similar at JTF warehouse was £19.99 not sure how good these are compared to the pro ones

Will take a look as we have a JTF here. The Green Flag guy had a Snap-On one that he says cost £500  Did say it could start up to 50 cars a day though!

Similar at JTF warehouse....

One of these has just opened near me. Never heard of them before and web site is not very informative. Is it worth a visit?

Snap-on one is ok. Better than most but has some design flaws so the cables break up.
Most of the cheap ones do the job and last ok as long as they are used once in a while and kept charged.
A friend used a motorcycle battery and made up some neat cables for around £10.

I have had 2 of them, one cheap ~30€, another higher priced ~100€. I have to say both were waste of money. Short after buying, they started to loose charge or could not reach the full charge. I used both of them in action, and my opinion is that thay can perform only few decent start attempts (at least with CDI engines).

Nowadays I have Defa and Benton maintenance chargers (Defa for fixed car installation, Benton for temporary other car/battery over night charging) and if I need a jump start, I have two old 100Ah batteries which I connect to car if needed. Conventional starter batteries are cheaper, higher Ah capacity and more reliable than jump packs... I don't need light, air compressor, usb connection or whatever these starters are offering.
