Doing some research on Bosch DJET injectors,
what are you guys using to replace them as they are NLA? We are looking for a car in the uk with the old DJET System fitted, close to Hertfordshire who would be interested in working with us to develop a new system ? interested please get in contact ! Thanks

What color are the injectors? The blue ones used in the 280CE and the 450SL are readily available. Green and yellow, not so much

I'm aware of a couple of DJET cars converted to Microsquirt using the usual Bosch L type injectors. I think this is quite commonplace so in that sense there already is a 'new' system available to replace DJET.

Ok thanks for the feedback, just trying to understand how much of a need for a replacement system !👍

Ok thanks for the feedback, we are close to finishing of our new system, it consists of new injectors that look like the original Djet with barbed top / hose connections, with our own driver box / control, just trying to get a feel for the demand!

You still have not said for which car or which color injectors so I'm not sure how you expect to get an answer. Without knowing, It's like asking how much a watch costs to replace. Timex or Rolex?

You probably don't need new injectors. They usually just need to be cleaned and have the filters and pintle caps replaced. I bought my own rig for cleaning and flow testing, but you can typically get them done for about $25/injector.

Hi, thanks for the feedback, yes definitely something that is recommended but as you probably well know they can’t all be saved and with replacement injectors becoming hard to find this is a issue, we currently have this issue on a Ferrari running Djet injectors they are like rocking horse 💩, with our new system we can build a new set with barb connections and have a laptop program to allow you to tune the vehicle to run the injectors, we have done this to the Citroen Ds which also runs Djet injectors and the feedback from the customer was that the car has never run as good as it has with the new system fitted 👍 thanks for you response 👍

I assume you know about these sites?

D-Jetronic from A to Z for all manufacturers

A guy who used to frequent this forum (Charles Morgan) converted his D-JET W114 to Microsquirt. His Citroen SM had previously been converted similarly. Microsquirt being used thus on classic cars was new to me but I got the impression that it was quite commonplace. If you have a system that works then obviously you don't need Microsquirt. Your success may well be linked to the popularity of Microsquirt and that isn't a given.
Link to CM's W114 project thread below but at 137 pages there's a hell of alot of reading to find a few pages on the MS conversion.

Might get more help if you told us what car they are for ..Also put the car model in you profile, thats the section under you name on the left hand side ☮😀💨
