Bought a W124

95 tourmaline green 300d saloon with 86k and about 10k in receipts fro, the previous owner.Drove back from Rugby this aft and really enjoyed it.
Came on steel wheels but got the vendor to include a set of correct (5) alloys with good tyres.

Modest amount of light rust and a loose doorcard seem to be the only short comings.

Only the Turbo Diesels have them. I personally like those 'gills'

Had it on the ramp to put the wheels on today and the underside is in top condition.

Also today my fob for the central lock/alarm is fubar is it a rebuild or replace or new remote alarm time,its the original item from MB

The new wheels rub a little so the offsets must be wrong what is the correct offset for 15s
Also as I intend to lower it about 40mm ish and fill the arches with 17s or 18s with low profile tyrs will the off sets change?
