i have a 129 SL320 1998 which when driving is very bouncey as if it had no shocks.It has hydraulic adjustable suspension front and rear when you raise it with the switch it goes up and down as it should.The computer has no fault codes but the oil did need topped up by a half litre and doesnt have any suspension fluid leaks ( dry as a bone).Front and rear swithes on the roll bar work and no broken wires or leaks any body got an idea ?

Its sounds like your spheres have failed.

As above, definately sounds like the nitrogen has leaked from the spheres. The same happened on my 600, the ride was awful until I had the rears replaced.

Get them from Euro Car Parts, around £80 each last time i checked...
