BP Ultimate 102

Not sure I understand this, to get the full benefit, it says you need to re-map your ignition. But then the web site indicates that their are about 5 places in the country where you can get it. But what happens if you've re-mapped your ignition to handle 102 octane fual and then you have to fill up at Sainsbury's?

They obviously don't want anyone in SW London or Surrey using it .....

Our nearest fill up point is Essex .....

I'm ok.
I can fill up at Brands Hatch on my many visits there this season:bannana: :bannana:

Sounds interesting. I'm always after more poke in the tank! I've a feeling this stuff won't be cheap mind...

It's too expensive imho.

I can get race fuel for less money than that, ridiculously overpriced.

Looks like it depends where you are but between 119p to 127p per liter

Cripes that's a bit expensive! I'll stick to Optimax and that 99 RON stuff from Tesco petrol stations.

If after a performance increase for a bit more "poke" via fuel than another tip is "NOT" to fill your tank right up and leave it below the half way mark as this would be less weight the car would be carrying... ;)

If this stuff really does work then I doubt that the increase in BHP that BP claim would be noticeable but will be intresting to read everyones feedback from buying this fuel which no doubt will not be cheap either.... :)

that's an uplift of at least 20% !!!!

He-He, I can get it in Portsmouth. :)

I will give it a try this weekend, and report back.

Ciao.
;)

Incredible!!

I was in the right mood today, so I got 30 litres.

The nozzle was padlocked and there was a 102 representative on the forecourt ensuring that people who wanted it were well cared for. He had to get the keys from the counter, come out and unlock it. I filled up the car, and was then given a book about the fuel, a batch certificate, a necklace/lanyard and a bunch of stickers.

I'll let you know if it's much better. Unlikely to make much difference to my Mini, but got to try it for a laugh.
