But why? If you are buying it as new it doesn't add up; it is a van, it is slow, it hasn't got modern performance, it hasn't got modern comfort, it hasn't got modern safety - they were unpleasant in a crash from one I remember seeing.
It is also only a van, not a Camper, if you convert it, it will no longer be original. I just cannot see the point, other than ooh-ah. Vee Dub were talking about a modern retro version but nothing seemed to come of it, which is a pity. But everyone to his tatse.

Howver, I used to have a Type 3 Estate, a long time ago - just about indestructible and would chug along all day at around 80 - it might still have been legal. The chug, chug sound was great.

If I had it i'd only get it sign written to promote our business It would be worth it for advertising alone I think but I like my Transit T230 Connect with it's air-con, mp3 player and full electrics. Too used to the creature comforts now.
