Does any one have a picture of a C class fitted with 15" AMG wheels. I know it has been talked about before saying that they look to small but I just wanted to check it out myself.

Not AMG's I know but if you look at my car on "show me the wheels" thread, you can see 15" Alloys on a C Class (dont know if that halps)

Thanks Simon, does not look as bad as I thought, still cannot decide if to go for 15" = cheap or 17" = expensive. Decisions, decisions.

Must say those 15" AMG's really look A HELL of a lot better than I thought they would. Got me considering if I need to go to 17" or stick with 15's now!!

I think it is because the wheels are quite solid so look "more wheel than space".
I have PM'd Shude to beg him to morph some 15" AMG's onto my car so I can make a call.

When you have them morphed, share with us.

I am proud to say my wheels once belonged to Koolvin.

The tyres for this size of wheel seem a fair bit cheaper than for 16" +, and that extra bit of rubber saves your rims if you ever encounter a kerb.

I'm very happy with them.

Don't get me wrong, I like my 17's, the stance of the car with 245's on the rear is amazing.

However, £530 for a set of rubber did make me wince, especially as I'll be lucky if it lasts me a year.

Consider wisley!

£530 for rubber!!!!! OMG

15" are sounding better by the minute
Even putting Yokohama's on 15's you'll have change from £260

:D That's good rubber mind - Goodyear Eagle F1's GSD-3's. Still, I expect to whup the asss out of them in about 15K miles - I do about 20K a year, so me better start saving again!

15" will give a smoother ride as the tyre profile on 17" will be quite low

Just a quick question, will my old 16" alloys fit a C180 or E180, there are loads of these cars around north london where I'm staying with steel wheels on. I was going to ask if anyone was interested.

My c180 has 15" AMG replicars fitted, I personnally think they are too small:-

Killerhertz - is yours a Sport trim? I don't think it is isit? I think your issue is the ride height is too high - with the small wheels it just doesn't work as you would like.
