Killerhertz - is yours a Sport trim? I don't think it is isit? I think your issue is the ride height is too high - with the small wheels it just doesn't work as you would like.

Yeah, its the same on mine. Just having the whole debate with the wife at the moment. She likes the comfort and does not want to chage the ride quality, but she does like some of the wheels I have been looking at. Problem is that even with 17's (see sig pic) there is still big arch gaps. arrrggghhhh!
I shall get things sorted in the end.

Why don't you try my old 16" wheels for ride and styling.... a 1 week try and buy....

Thats not a bad idea mate, if your up for it. I'll speak to the boss and see what she has to say

Did you notice much difference in ride quality going to the 17" with low profile tyres??

Well I'm deffo up for it, your local to me so it will be easy to do. You can collect the wheels at the weekend, Friday onwards...

As for the ride, I did 200 miles on Sunday on the new wheels/tyres, it is a slightly harder ride, the tyres aren't ultra low profile, so it's still very comfy.

To notice a complete change I would need to change to sports suspension as well.

Nah, its an Elegance. I guess your right, but Im not a big fan of big tyres, I like there to be more metal, less rubber
