Hi Guys,

Looks like I'm missing my 4th gear on my 722.503 transmission. When I run 130 kph I have 3000rpm..

I diagnosed with the simple LED code read and it looks like a have code - 9. I delete it -run the car-all gears shifting well and once I jam and start again I have the same fault code.

Also, I found some documents on the internet with the explanation codes and my code says that "solenoid coil in control valve makes poor contact."

Can someone guide me where I should start? I would like to fix this issue by myself as we do not have many experts in those types of transmissions.

Look for info on K2 damper, I remember seeing something on it, can't find it though.

Check the 4th/5th switch at the gear lever. When I had that problem, I changed the switch, erased the code for the 50th time, and all has been well since.

I have recently had a missing 5th gear. No error codes. It was the same switch that was either dirty (contact cleaner) or I had installed it incorrectly. Cleaned, re-installed and all well again.

Coming with a little update:
- I unplagged the connection behind the transmittion with the 1-4-7 contacts for solenoid. Tried to mearure resistance between 4-7 it's - 8 Oms. Cleaned the contact, then erased the memory. Car was working fine maybe for 10 min then I lost 4 again.
- Then I desided to check the connection of HGS block behind the battery. Unplagged, cleaned with the contact cleaner and put it back.

Now I have code 6 which means that "vehicle speed signal interruped", also I lost 5th but I have 4th. Also for some reason I can't delete this error with the LED.

I am struggling with exactly the same symptons i.e. missing 5 gear and when I test I also get code 6 'Vehicle Speed Signal interrupted' Have you managed to solve the issue if so what was the fix.

As the OP has not been on here since August 31 2020 and taking into account what is happening in the Ukraine right now you may not get an answer soon. I do hope I am wrong.
