c180 abs warning light "on"

Hi everyone. A very big problem... Recently I bought a "S" reg. Mercedes c180 Estate, petrol. Traction control and ABS lights are permanently "on". I've tried access ABS ECU but there is no communication. I replaced the ABS ECU, but is still the same. I also replaced brake lights switch - still no luck. I can access engine ECU and read the fault codes. At the moment car is on "get home" mode. Any ideas are much appreciated.

You need to get it plugged into a Star diagnostic machine to find out the cause of the light on. No point in throwing parts at it.

Dealers or specialists often have them.

Cheers Olly. I'll need to book it at the local Mercedes dealer. I've tried to access the ABS with my diagnostic equipment ,but with no luck. goes everywhere ,but ABS.

No need for a dealer. There is probably a specialiist near you that can do it.

I've tried a local Mercedes guy, but he also didn't go further than me.

Had my C180 tested at merc dealer and they were unable to turn off abs light. Replaced LH sensor because thats the area working on last before sensor came on. Made no difference any suggestions?

What are the codes?
