Quick bit of guidance if you can please guys?

ive recently picked up a C204 C63 with the 19” black wheels with polished lip, however, they have some curbing all round, so I’d like to get them refurbed.

a friend told me he knew someone who refurbs wheels and so when he was walking todayduring his daily allowance of exercise, he took some pics of my wheels to send to his mate.

h
His mate text back apart fly and said that they’re diamond cut and he can’t do them.... are they?!

I thought the diamond cut wheels were on the 507s but not the base model?

many advice would be helpful guys, as this is my first performance car and I’m wanting to get it right.

Thanks!
Tom

Is it kerbs damage or just poorly painted?

Both. Each wheel is scuffed on the rim and the paint doesn’t look great. I just want to pull them off and get them back to stock.

I had the lip on my diamond cut wheel refurbished but got the wheel man to paint the lip in high shine silver, unless you are standing within arms length of it you can not tell, also only cost £35 a wheel, instead of £60.

Then hit another curb and installed rim protectors, ironically not hit a curb since.

Mine were Diamond cut & corroded, had them powder coated black & the lip diamond cut, they use a specialist wheel tool to do diamond cutting.
Perhaps your friends mate doesn't have one, hence not being able to sort them for you.

I've not actually dealt with a company as of late to refurb wheels as touch wood i've not kerbed anything for a while.

However on Instagram i do follow "The Auto Werks" which seem to be a good outfit. ( I have no connection with this business just the pictures of the jobs they do seem really good).

Got mine powder coated anthracite, goes well with Paladium Silver
