C207 - underside boot carpet or lining

Hi

Not really paid much attention to the boot of the 2012 E Class coupe, until I need to search something out yesterday

And I noticed that there is carpet / lining on the bottom (floor) and the sides, but nothing on the underside of what is essentially the parcel shelf.

It's out of sight, but bare metal.....

Am I missing a piece?

Doubt it our S Class 450SE has nothing there but has lots of carpet and insulation every where else.

Yeah I doubted it, but can anyone else with and e class coupe confirm for sure?

I've just checked my coupé and what you have is correct, assuming you mean the 'top' part inside the boot under the rear window and where the cables for the folding seats run. Had the car from new, so that's as it was.
