C215 CL500 cuts out when warm

Hi there I have an 04 cl500 and it starts in the button, however, after I'd say 5 minutes it cuts out. It then won't start at all until it's called down again. No codes or errors thrown up so I'm at a loss as to what it could be. Any ideas? Research says maybe an air flow sensor or crank sensor but can't find anything definitive. Thanks

Classic crank or cam position sensor issue.......they work fine....then fail when warm. Often don't throw a code on DIY diagnostic kit too.....need Star or similar.

Thanks I cracked out my more power scanner and got the following two codes p2034-8 and P0335 both of which Re crack position sensor codes so looks like you were bang on the money. Thanks for the speedy response.
