C220, CDI, Sport, Estate, 55 plate-door mirrors

Hi all,

New to the club.Should my car have elctric door mirrors?

Used to have a C220 Classic which had this feature and somewhat surprised that this is not on this model.

Need to take care when reversing into the garage!

Any answers appreciated.

Do you mean electrically folding mirrors? If so, I believe only if the Mirror Package was selected as an option which I think includes auto-dimming interior and offside (which works at night, of course).

Yes-that is what I meant(doh!).

Am I ok to assume that these fold manually,please?

They can certainly be folded by pulling them in manually, but there is a fair bit of resistance. They will only fold electrically if there is a centre switch between the two adjusters on the driver's door.

As I also found it can be a problem finding one of these with electrically folding mirrors!
