C220 W205 Touchpad issues

Can anyone help please.
The touchpad on my Merc doesn't seen to work at all completely unresponsive.
Has anyone else had issues like this?
If so, what was the fix. Thank you!

I think there were issues with some of the earlier ones. I know my present one is much more responsive than in the last car What year is your car?

Thanks for your reply. 2014 (64) The buttons at the back of the touchpad seem to work but there is nothing at all from the touchpad itself.

Mine hasn't worked since I bought it , 2018 car. Disabled it after 2 days , what a total PITA.

I was told that an audio unit reset might sort the issue. Was told to turn the ign on and with the audio unit on, hold down the CD eject button and that should reboot the system.
Didn't work. Nothing happened at all.
Did you disable yours by disconnecting or is there an option from one of the setting menus? Thanks!

I think it can be turned off in the COMAND settings - so ensure it is actually on !

Sorry coleB1980 , just noticed your question. Yes, you can enable & disable the touchpad in command - vehicle- system settings- touchpad - enable/disable.

Thanks for any comments left. Just an update.
I took my car back to the used car dealer I bought it from.
They have sorted the issue.
I didn't stand and watch but apparently the technician plugged their computer into the car and re-callebrated the infotainment system which sorted the issue. It now works perfectly.
Unless they replaced it from another user car (being cynical) then all sorted.
