Does anyone know if a helicoil insert will be okay to fix the diesel injector mounting as it’s stripped it’s mounting thread?

I had a W210 320 CDI with helicoil...so i don't see any issues using one , What year is your car?

Helicoil is ok, but I believe Timsert is better in this case

its an 05 c220 cdi 1.9 diesel

Unless the OP transplanted 1.9 TDI engine in there , you never know.
