Looking for some knowledge please, my C220d 2015 has been plagued with NOx sensor issues, AdBlue, DPF since I purchased it back in 2023. Had both NOx sensors replaced and recently opted for an AdBlue delete as I was sick and tired of the EML coming on. Also had DPF Sensor replaced October last year. As part of the AdBlue delete, stage 1 remap done as well.

Im now getting errors C007362 & P246309 (see picture). I have a Launch Creader Elite diagnostic tool and its telling me that Ash and Soot % content is low yet the Fill level is over 200 and I cannot do a forced regen as fill level needs to be below 200.
Don't understand why the car is not auto regenerating but recognise that im only doing short journeys daily to work and back and Sunday is the only day it gets a motorway run but not a long one.

Cleared the DTC's yesterday and Took it down the motorway yesterday for 30 mins in Sport+ mode to get the revs up but got in car this morning and light back on and fill level over 200 !!

Its really starting to bug me, my Wife has 2018 GLA 200d and has no DPF issues at all and only does short journeys like I do.

Also had the DPF cleaned last year as well.

How do i get the car to regen to clear the errors ?? :wallbash:

Hopefully your Launch tool will somewhere have the option of reading the last 16 ( i think it's 16 ) Regens. The report tells you if the regen was completed and at what mileage etc but it also shows a reason for a failed one.

I was quoted "about £700" by a Merc specialist to take of the DPF and clean it and do all sorts of other things. I thought i would take a look myself The reason for my issue.......... "12v battery voltage low" A new battery on and the car did a regen. I might add you don't even need to drive the car. It will regen stood still.

New battery on, cleared the codes and watch the regen happening on the diagnosics tool I have.

I might add you don't even need to drive the car. It will regen stood still. You just have to have all the required parameters in place.

There are lots of reasons the car won't do one. You have to find it. Cleaning the DPF is not required.

Not advised though....they get to about between 500–600°C (932–1112°F) when in regen......if you don't want to melt wires and stuff its best to be moving.

Have you checked pressure diff sensors of DPF? Are holes open to exhaust, what reading you are getting, is it changing when revs up?

If sensor is ok;
Did you make DPF initialization after cleaning? If not, values were not reset.

Also if I recall right, adblue fault prevents regen, is your ablue delete taking account that it allows regen?

When it was cleaned, did they register it as a new dpf afterwards?

Hi, I did read about AdBlue delete could impact dpf regen but I asked that question before it was deleted and was assured the delete has not impact on the DPF.
I haven't done any physical checks on the car so at this stage im unsure.

I have yet to find a screen that shows me previous regens and results, not sure if this is possible on my machine. Its A Launch Creader Elite 2.0 Benz model
I got it to do a regen in standstill but it didnt seem to make much difference, I have the option to do a regen whilst driving so may try that, just having the time to do it

So you've put on some dodgy Adblue delete and remap and now it's not working correctly. That's a bit of a coincidence.
At the very least what you've put on is an unknown, so what is expected behaviour cannot be guaranteed.

That first fault I'm sure is the because of the remap too.

Eloquently put I must say, stage 1 map getting removed this week. Adblue delete is legit in terms of being correct software. I suspect the stage 1 map is affecting the torque which is affecting the DPF regen..
