C240 cylinder numbering

I have a problem with an erratic idle on my 1998 C240 , the fault error code says missfire on cylinders 1,2 and 3, can anyone tell me how the cylinders number on the V6?

Did you ever find out Harley Man? I need to know. I have misfire on number 5.

Yes I did, as you face the car the cylinders on the left bank number 1 2 3 counting from the front of the car and 4 5 6 on the right counting form the front of the car. Hope that helps
