Germans are the king of the "options" list.

and in the UK we often specify nothing.

Germany supplied cars are often full of optional extra's.

So....first "long" work run i the car today, over to the west of Ireland and back.....600kms in total.
The car done 85kms on pure electric (between leaving with 100% battery and the hybrid system doing it's thing).......the car averaged 55mpg for the trip.
The charge cost me about €1........on my overnight EV tariff.

As mentioned earlier........strategic use of E-Save mode and Hybrid mode seems to be best on long runs.

Loving the car.......although the plug in/unplug every night/morning i already getting on my wick!!!!! (hoping it will just become routine)

I think this is one of the issues with hybrids - some people can’t be bothered to plug them in (as they don’t have to, and due to the range being so limited on electric)

I promised my boss I would lower our fuel bill if he let me buy this car........it ill be getting charged every night!!!!

Cards on the table.......it's the power boost it gives to the car that I really wanted and judging by this morning in "sport" ......it is mission accomplished.

Agreed, nearly 800nm of peak torque, and delivered in a way where the electric motor fills in all the gaps whilst turbo spools etc. Its great.

4.3l/100km = 66mpg

The electricity that allowed this economy cost me approx, €1

Loving this car.

I have about 700kms to do on Wednesday.....I know I won't achieve 66mpg on such a long run but I will try and get close.

I can regularly hit 65+ on a run with no electric contribution.

My daily commute averages 3 mi/pkwh which is quite good for a big heavy car but relatively poor compared to dedicated EVs

Also used my MBito for the first time.

Rear lights with DRL's
Turn Signal One Touch x 5
Pressure to Psi

Not sure if I'll bother with any of he display changes.

Loving this car........

but......

the electric range showing when battery is fully charged rarely goes above 40kms......

Is this normal for this time of the year?? (temps rarely into double figures this time of the year in Ireland......especially in the morning}

Mine never ever shows more than 26 Miles calculated range. I get 35miles in the summer. So yours is the same as mine.
