Hi all..

After some general advice please...

Have a 2010 C350 CDI Tourer 231ps... Thinking about having a remap or tuning box for improved performance and MPG..

Research shows a remap is the preferred option but I like the idea of being able to remove the box for service and as it has a MB warranty on it.

Any advice welcome.

Also any companies recommended .. I am West Midlands , Worcester area..I have had a quote from Viezu - anyone used these?

Cheers

There are loads of threads on the same subject, it is a well trodden path. Mine has been mapped, been back to the dealers for warranty work. No problems (non engine/ecu related). Gains are obvious and meaningful. Haven't come across any negatives.

Midlands - MSL is local to you. I'd go to them. Look at post 10 below this one for my experience.

Cheers guys, will look up MSL and give them a call.

There's a bit of a mini get together happening at MSL this Sunday 02 November.

May be worth your while to pop in and have a chat?

I'll be there, as will several others from here. Thread HERE about it. :)

Unfortunately I am out on a works thing all day but thanks ..:-)

If you can wait until Dec 7th, there is a big MSL GTG/Dyno day. Plenty of time to contact Acid, talk about your requirements and look forward to the day.

Hi,

Im new to the forum, Ive been toying with the idea of a remap for some time, having 90 thou on the clock now on my E350CDi, want to spruce it up a bit.

This tuning, Dyno Day, are they doing remapping on the day? Any ideas on costs?

Best off speaking to Acid (MSL Boss) on the number posted by Roger above.

I'm sure that they'll be able to accommodate you though. :D

no offence to the company but when you select Products | merc it says no products available!

Sorry Neil...........my bad.

Don't worry, MSL have plenty of tuning options for Mercedes. Give Acid a call if you want something for your car. He is a diamond:thumb:

not a worry fella.
it's convincing the missus to let me do it!
