I'm thinking of getting a w204 c350 but I'm struggling with models fuel economy, so far I've seen extra urban figures quoted 38, 42 and 48 I'm guessing these are different engine calibrations. Does anyone know what years each model changed?
Thanks Tony

In the 2011 brochure for the facelift model, blue efficiency engines with stop start, the extra urban is stated as 54.3,combined of 47.9 and urban 39.2

Having had five C Class estates, none were 4 cylinder. I would go for the W204 C350 Cdi blue efficiency, its the best so far.

Go for the C250 Cdi Better alround car

Having moved from a C320CDI to a C250CDI losing two cylinders and a very small amount of performance, a 33% decrease in fuel used and a better overtaking performance means I agree:)

Horses for course IMHO. I have a C350 CDI as before, the mpg went up with the intro of Blue Efficiency. Which car depends on what you want, the 350 is more powerful than the 250 which is more economical. I'm biased and you can guess what my answer is. No regrets here :)

I'm driving a C270 at the moment so the fuel economy isn't vital as all the variants are as good or better. It was more the road tax bands for each model I was thinking about. I here What your saying about the C250 fuel economy etc. But I really fancy a V6

I have had 2 MB's with the 270 Cdi engine.. Great engines in their own right but the V6 Diesels are something else on performance / smoothness.
Have you driven a V6 Diesel yet??

I am on my 2nd 211 E class..
Gorgeous car and engine

I've driven all of the W204 CDI models and I settled for a 2012 c350 CDI. It runs a Rebellion Automotive RA350 kit and believe me RS5 Audis never have the upper hand ;) 50mpg on a rum too !

You won't regret it. V6 is superb with 7g auto box.
