First time post for me been reading forum posts on this issue but I cannot for the life of me find a solution.

Recently I've been fighting an issue with P0101 and 14B100 codes started off as just a one off now it's pretty much every journey especially if you step on it. I've replaced all charge pipe seals replaced MAP sensor and replaced the N/S charge pipe due a very small leak. I've also replaced the orange seals on the "batwing" and new air filters also trying to solve it I have dismantled the Mafs using a heat gun to clean them, I've also reset adaptions usingmy Icarsoft MBV3 but am I missing something that is still causing this error. Don't really want to spend £500+ on new Mafs, I fell I've exhausted most of of posabilties I can, I have also asked my local Mercedes specialist but he wont touch the car because of my DPF/EGR delete.

Called out mercedes roadside assistance and they plugged it in with xentry they then ran the maf tests and found that B7/2 was intermittently going out of spec for a split second with when you turn the ignition on but would all fall into spec when the engine was revved. Ordered a some used mafs to see if that sort it if not back to the drawing board!

If it comes to it, don’t waste your money on cheap eBay maf’s from China. The intake air temperature sensors don’t work. Mercedes do an exchange batwing, which although still expensive isn’t quite as horrific as a new unit

Yeah I did get a quote for a new unit at MB Southwest around £700 with a £100 rebate on the old unit. I managed to find a genuine used one on the auction site for £90. they'll arrive on Monday so I'll adapt them using icarsoft and see.

New/used part arrived today "complete batwing" has seemed to solved my issue, used icarsoft to tech in new the new mafs and all seems "fixed" also seems to be smoking a lot less as well we shall see how it goes will update if anything changes.

The annoying thing was I ordered a genuine new bosch mass air flow last week and unfortunately it was a 5 pin instead of 4 let's see if I can return it.

I've done around 900 miles since installing the mafs and all seems to be running fine. The pickup is also slightly smoother as well as the idle.
