could anyone help me, I’m looking to buy a c350e and im seeing some with blue callipers with a hybrid badge on the side and others with no badge and grey callipers. Is there a reason for this? Or is it just what was chosen buy the customer? Thanks

I gave a C300h and that has grey callipers. Thought that the C350e had blue callipers

Some of the c350e’s also have grey callipers. It seems to be the case that if it has no hybrid badge on the side panel then it doesn’t have blue callipers either.

My 65 reg had normal callipers, the blue came in later and I think they went back to normal again - I think it’s a time thing and definitely wasn’t an option on the 2015 Sport model but may have been on the AMG Line when they introduced that - what models are they Sport or AMG Line ?
When the C350e first came out it had Plug In Hybrid scrawled across the boot but they soon changed that.
There is literally only one car on the market that is c350e premium plus and amg line. It’s so rare to find one that’s amg line. I can’t seem to pin down what the difference is, I’m pretty sure it’s not a time thing because I’ve see 16/66 plates with grey and blue. But saying that I haven’t seen 17 plates with grey but I have seen 18 plates with grey it’s weird just wanted to understand why before I buy

Hi, have done a good bit of looking around the interweb for the c350e as i was in the market for one (picking it up this week[emoji7]).. From wht I have seen, the blue calipers are not shipped with the model anymore unless ordered that way as an extra, i will be in with a main dealer this Friday and will put the question to them.. [emoji16]
I actually like the gray tbh but then again my car is a nice shade of gray so im a bit bias [emoji23]..

FWIW, our mid 2016 manufactured car (Sport) came with the blue highlights and badges. Pretty sure it was just an oddity - someone in marketing decided blue was the colour of EV so slapped it on for a bit, then they realised it costs, so took it off again? Maybe folk objected to the hybrid badge??
I'd be amazed if you find a dealer that even knows about it, let alone one that can give you an honest and accurate answer!
Do bear in mind that a 16/66 plate may well have sat unsold for a while. Mine was manufactured in July and sold in December. There were a few detail changes that came in early 2016, like the revised charging socket (the one that doesn't let water make its way into the charger electronics box!) so it could be just timing.
Curious to hear what the dealer says anyway so please keep us posted, and of course, pictures of the car when you get it or it never happened
