Hello,
I have fully charged EV battery. But from past few months, the Electric mode is not kicking on when the car is set to Hybrid. As it was winter months, I thought the battery is not sufficient hence electric mode is not kicking in. However, now the weather is getting hotter, still I see that electric mode is not enabled (even start stop mechanism is not working).

Any clue what the issue is?

Thanks in advance.

Faulty or aging battery.....fully charged does not mean that's its still making enough current or voltage if its failing. Its just a guess and you need to get the fault codes read.....but a friend had a similar issue on his 48v hybrid Kuga......new battery (warranty luckily) sorted it.

Hi if the car is still under warranty take it back to the dealer for them to check it out

Unfortunately its a 2017 model, so there is no warranty. I will stick in the fault code reader and check. But there is nothing displayed in the dashboard screen.

Thanks

Hi when did you buy the car was it recently

Interestingly, this afternoon the Eco mode turned ON on its own. The start / stop function also started to work. I am driving tomorrow again, will check if Eco mode kicks in.

get the battery checked, stop/start not workings usually a sign of battery, so the rest may be connected
