Congrats! We need to see some more picture, and hear about how you are finding the V8 experience :D

Not quite a done deal but fingers crossed everything will check out. Well I hope so as I only have a 1 way flight booked to Edinburgh.

Fly up tomorrow morning.

Good luck with the purchase mate.

The cost of the car: £10,500
The cost of a one way plane ticket: about £40
The feeling you're gonna get from owning and driving an AMG: priceless

Its a nice drive back from Edinburgh on the A702, should give you a chance to try out the C43 :D

Well done, don't forget to take pics! :)

Will probably give you lots of opportunity to check out various petrol stations as well ;)

for gods sake buy some sort of speed camera detector before you drive back. Lothian and borders police must be closely behind wales in speed camera terms.

either that or keep to the speed limit....

Will take the TOMTOM sat nav got the latest download of the speed camera database ;)

good o .. as a rule of thumb on the M74 if you decide to go that way. Every time you see a white speed camera sign , expect there to be a bridge close which may have a camra van.

This was on PistonHeads for £11,495 so its had quite a large price reduction.

Well done :bannana:

Good man Shaun!!!

Enjoy the drive home mate.....least its not Bank Holiday weekend!!

We expect pics and a full write up / review when you're good and ready!

All the best,
Greg

Well done.

I hope the C180 isn't the most powerfull RWD car you have experience of, or that is quite a jump!
