C43 intelligent g/box

Does the C43 have an 'intelligent' autobox - i.e the sort that adapts to your driving style??

Reason for asking is that I gave it some beans today on the 15 mile run to my gym, and on the return journey it seemed to be very keen to kick down earlier and quicker than usual. Normally I just waft about in it and when I put my foot down it will tend to just stay in the same gear as opposed to dropping a ratio or two. Even when I drove relatively gently for a bit this afternoon it seemed more eager.. Anyone else got one who can comment?

I did think that once you turn off the car, the 'box brain loses the knowlegde and starts again with your current driving style! No doubt someone will come along and prove me wrong on that with all kinds of complicated reasons.

Maybe you have just cleared out a few cob webs and the car was showing it was better for it.
