2014 E63
Currently own a 2014 E63 which is shortly going up for sale unfortunately, have thoroughly enjoyed it bar the bills and the firmer ride than I expected.

As I'm in the process of getting divorced and my annual mileage has increased by about 50% this year I could do with improving my fuel economy somewhat, and fancy something newer with a warranty that doesn't hit me with the unexpected bills this has so far.

Easy answer to my question is do 43 models have similar servicing costs to their 63 equivalents or are they more in line with normal C and E class models? I'm particularly thinking about things like the eye watering cost of brake discs (which I did already know about to be fair), are servicing and parts costs for the 43 models typical of AMGs?

It wasn't a car I'd considered previously but as it appears you can pick them up for mid-30s now, it's been added to my shortlist along with the Audi S5 and BMW M2.

Sorry not answering the question but I was looking at these yesterday, I'm not sure it's special enough though ..... But Evo likes it.

2018 Mercedes-AMG C43 review - does the C43 deserve its AMG badge?

My c250 now looks identical so it's an extra 120bhp only the torques the same....

The facelift model now looks significantly different to the AMG Line, which wasn’t the case with the pre facelift

OP, the service plan costs for 43 are the same as the standard car, rather than the higher level of 63’s, so generally the maintenance costs should be better. Personally I’ve always been pretty impressed with the economy of 43 models, so you should see a fair improvement

For motorway use, what the difference in mpg?

C43 PPlus for 1y. First time in a AMG car. From what I can tell it’s much more economical than a V8.

Test drove a E43 pre purchase. Felt very different. Much heavier car. e43 is nimble and kart like.

Drive 250 miles a week. Spend about £65 a week. Previous E350CDI was about £45-50 a week

Thanks I was also intrigued as i’ll be pulling the trigger on a C43 estate as a daily

Only had my C43 for 3 days, averaging 14.4mpg at the moment, me thinks I like the loud pedal a bit too much at the moment, I am sure I will get a bit better behaved soon............hopefully

I can just about stretch to 35mpg on the motorway in comfort. Average around town is 20mpg. Much lower if you want to have fun. I've never been (or want to go into eco mode) It's a 2017 C43amg cab.
