Hello

I've just recently bought a 2003 (52 plate) CL500 and I've got an issue with the rear lights and when I opened the hatch it seems someone has done a bodge job with JB weld and water has gotten in and rusted the lower metal plates in some places the rust has either snapped the metal or completely eaten it away.

So my question is I can't find a set of these LED lights however I found some none LED versions that I think are on the none facelift model so my questions are:

Are these lights fixable or are they ready for the tip?
Could I buy the older set of lights and plug and play as they both have the 7 pin connector?

Any help is massively appreciated

Many thanks

Hi,

ive had a look on various sites such as ebay (easy place to find the non LED versions), autodoc they where out of stock on them and i did a few requests on some online scrap yards such as parts gateway i got a response from one but they told me the driver side light was faulty so couldn't sell me that one and i ideally need a pair

Did you try mercedes Benz Newcastle

Hi I messaged them and sadly they told me because they no longer manufacture them then I would need to source them elsewhere, thank you anyway

Thank you I've had a look at their website and they have a few of the old style ones that have apparently come off a Cl55
Dronsfield MBenz breakers ??
does anyone know if they will be a plug and play fit? I've had a look at the circuit/ bump placement and the connectors and they all look the same
