Car won't start

Hi my name is Graham,
I recently purchased a MB220 CDI 2011 model. 207,000miles, 170ps, 2.2ltr diesel, estate avant-garde automatic. Well I went to my local chemist parked up. Returned to the car attempted to start, crank no start. No warning lights or messages prior to and after parking. Anyone any ideas what the fault may be???

Many possibilities

Crankshaft position sensor, Camshaft position sensor 6, failed low or high pressure fuel pump.....

Garage has checked timing- OK. Fitted two different cam sensors- error code still showing. Error codes showing at the moment

From what I have analysed so far none of these failure codes with exception of the first should stop the car from starting, or am I totally wrong??? The garage is now saying it could be ECU??. Is it advisable to repair, clone or go for new. Any ones help greatly appreciated

I've seen a lot of mercedes being repaired there. Car is mb c220cdi, 2010, 170ps, W204

OK, that doesn't mean they are an MB specialist. Do you know if they used Star?
